Capital Smart City Interchange Officially Approved by NHA

Great news for stakeholders and future residents—the National Highway Authority (NHA) has officially approved the construction of a dedicated interchange for Capital Smart City. The NHA Executive Board granted approval for the development of this interchange at KM 332–333 on the M2 Motorway, ensuring smooth and direct access to the housing project.

This significant milestone was granted to Future Development Holdings (FDHL) under the official NHA access regulations. With this approval, Capital Smart City becomes even more accessible, further enhancing its value as a premier investment and residential destination in the Islamabad region.

Overseas Central Block Location

The Overseas Central Block in Capital Smart City enjoys a highly strategic and accessible location. Positioned near the dedicated Smart City Interchange, it offers excellent connectivity to major routes, making it a preferred choice for both residents and investors.

This block is easily accessible through three major entry points:

  • The 180-foot-wide Ring Road (fully developed and operational)

  • The 400-foot-wide Main Boulevard (also fully functional)

  • The 350-foot-wide proposed society main road, which is currently under partial development

Capital Smart City NOC

Capital Smart City Islamabad has received official No Objection Certificate (NOC) approval from the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), the governing body under whose jurisdiction the project falls. The NOC was granted in multiple phases as the society expanded its land holdings.

Initially, 2,000 Kanal of land received RDA approval on November 17, 2017. Later, in the second phase, an additional 7,376 Kanal was approved on September 21, 2019. Furthermore, a request for 17,602 Kanal is currently under review and expected to receive formal approval in the near future.

This phased NOC approval highlights the project’s legal status and development legitimacy, making it a secure and trustworthy investment for buyers.
